Full Moon Celebration • with Cacao, Psilosybin & Yin Yoga
We welcome you to celebrate this special day in togetherness. We open our hearts, hold space for each other and celebrate all aspects of life. During this full moon in Leo we are at the end of the energetic winter and so our time to focus within. It’s now time to slowly shift our attention more outwards and set the fundamentals of your manifestations for the summer. It’s time to wake up, the energetic spring just started with the renewable energy of the east. The Full Moon in Leo suggests a cheerful and joyful mood. Let’s use that positive energy to release and set intentions. You are the creator of your own life!
WHAT’S ON THE PROGRAM?
We open the circle by an opening meditation to get fully into our body and in the present moment. We call in the different elements, connect to the moon energy and invite the spirit world to draw close to us. We share our intentions as a group before we drink the cacao, what would you like to let go of and what do you wish to manifest? We drink raw cacao to increase the connection with ourselves, nature, the spirit world and each other. There will be healing, breathing and tantric exercises, yin yoga and some ecstatic dancing to let go and raise the energy! We finish the ceremony with a sharing circle to express whatever there is on our hearts.
Cacao has been used in ancient ceremonies by the Maya’s for thousands of years. Raw cacao is a natural and ancient plant medicine, with a high concentration of vitamins, minerals and is a powerful antioxidant. This high amount of nutrients in the cacao supports and nourishes the body, whilst also inducing a detoxifying effect on the liver and kidneys. Cacao also increases blood flow to the brain as well as induces the release of feel-good endorphins. Due to the euphoria inducing ingredients, the emotional impact can be profound. Everything feels heightened within the physical and emotional body, including your awareness to your deepest sense of self.
Yin yoga is all about stillness. Stillness of the body so there can be stillness of the mind. To balance our more yang style (active) way of living. Symbolic, the moon stands for this yin energy, just as the winter season. Sophie will guide you to this practice, where the postures works on deeper tissues and you can explore what happens. This ‘passive’ yoga style can bring a lot of sensations, thoughts and (emotional) feelings during the session, but will give you a lot of ease and lightness in the end.
ABOUT MICRODOSING PSILOSYBIN
More and more people start microdosing psilosybin. Typically, microdosers integrate sub-perceptual doses into their weekly routine. They often report higher levels of creativity, more energy, increased focus, and improved relational skills. Some enthusiasts also report microdosing mushrooms helps to heighten spiritual awareness and enhance the senses.
Research studies are done to study the long term effects and have shown that psilosybin reduces anxiety levels and improve the mood: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20819978/
Also addictions, such as smoking, can be overcome with psilocybin. Researchers at Johns Hopkins have achieved an 80 percent abstinence rate with a group of longtime smokers, in the context of a cognitive behavioral therapy treatment: https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/news/media/releases/magic_mushrooms_help_longtime_smokers_quit.
Aside from psychological issues, mushrooms (and LSD) have been found to be “comparable to or more efficacious than most conventional medications” in treating cluster headaches. Many people have experienced extended periods of remission after taking them. (source: https://thethirdwave.co).
